New Phygital Sports League launched at ISPO

Phygital sport in Germany took a major step forward last week with the launch of the nation’s Phygital Sports League (PSL) at ISPO Munich – the world’s premier sports industry event.
The new league will allow established sports clubs in Germany and beyond the chance to expand into hybrid and tech-driven formats.
To celebrate the announcement, organizers Force of Disruption GmbH also held the country’s first phygital sports tournament, Phygital Football. Winners now advance to the international PSL finals in June 2026. The global event will feature €500,000 in prize money and additional competitions in Phygital Basketball and Phygital Dancing.
The organization also introduced the PSL SportsBox, a plug-and-play digital module equipped for tournaments anywhere in the world, enabling clubs to easily host their own phygital competitions.
